A little bit ago I wrote about the Geek X Girl Bloggers Facebook group and how awesome those ladies are! This year I got to participate in their annual Christmas card exchange. It was a lot of fun and brought me a ton of joy over the holiday season. It was such a treat to go to my mailbox and find Christmas cards from all over the world! All the warm holiday wishes and sweet messages really made my day. These ladies are so fantastic.
The first card I got was from Kay Nyman from myopensketchbook.com. As you can see it has this adorable polar bear in a scarf. Kay is an amazing artist and writer. She has really cool prints available and you should definitely check out her blog.
Then I got a hand designed card from Bree at breezeeweezee.weebly.com. She is an amazing cosplayer located in Canada. She made a Deathly Hallows, HP themed card. Such an awesome card to open up. If you are looking for cosplay inspiration check no further.
The next card I received was from Kimi who blogs at www.kimiwho.com. Kimi has a fantastic lifestyle blog and some very adorable cats. As well as an impressive Funko collection. She sent a cute card with a Santa hat and an excellent Have a Holly Jolly Christmas.
The last card I received was from Pepi who blogs at depepi.com. It is this adorable tree pun card (I love a good pun). She writes about geek anthropology and she has even published an e-book! She put this wonderful card exchange together and also organizes a Funko Friday post across multiple blogs. She is a geek blogging superstar. You should definitely check out her stuff.
This christmas card exchange was so much fun, and I’m so glad I participated. It was a fantastic way get into the holiday cheer and brightened up many a cold day. Now that the holidays are winding down I hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays, with minimal stress.
